Like most places, Equestria has its share of hot, arid landscapes. Water is scarce, vegetation even more so, and thusly the ponies that brave the inhospitable landscape have an uphill battle for mere survival. Yet, for the most part they seem fine with this. Your challenge is to draw some deserts!

Today’s Cadance Challenge is… Sea Ponies!
Shoo be doo! Straight from the beginning of all things MLP, the sea ponies are an elusive aquatic race of ponies which, rare though they be, are more than willing to help out the surface dwellers in any situation. We’ve not seen them surface yet in FiM (the Dazzlings were hippocampi, quite different from sea ponies), but that doesn’t mean they’re not lurking the waters of Equestria somewhere! Tirek came back, after all!
