Hello, this is Iris, one of the mods of the 30 minute challenge.

It’s been almost 3 years since I joined this tumblr, not too long after it started, and through its ups and downs, as well as its change in mods, from its earliest inception to its more recent state, I’ve seen it develop. I still remember a time when it was set only once a day, before it started to accommodate a European time slot, and eventually, an Asian time slot (which I myself started, back in 2013. So technically, I’m the Asian mod).

But all things must come to an end. Recently, I have some real life situations as well as some other complications, that will make maintaining a constantly daily challenge a bit difficult. As such, I will be taking a leave from the 30 minute challenge tumblr. I’m not sure I if I will be coming back eventually, but, in case I am not, this is goodbye. I had a great time, and a lot of fond memories. It has inspired me to start a new tumblr known as The Art Bloc, and has helped me got to know some wonderful people.

I would like to thank all the artists who participated in the challenges I had set in the past 3 years, as well as to my fellow mods on the tumblr, both past and present. Its been awesome. Hopefully, I might come back to do another challenge.
