Hah, so this is later than originally intended. But it’s still worth doing since it’s been awhile.
To go with the new year we’re putting out a sort of introductory post. What we do here and who the mods are and all that.
The 30minchallenge blog is dedicated, if it weren’t obvious, to hosting four art challenges every day. Most of these are My Little Pony based, but we do mix it up with other challenges on Fridays.
The challenges are time limited to keep ideas flowing, doing new things and all, as well as to help people practice their speed and general drawing skills. Mostly though it’s just for fun. Ya take them as seriously as you’d like to take them.
We generally run 30 or 45 minute challenges with 15 minutes to get your submissions to us tacked on the end. We take submissions over here- https://30min.ponylogic.com/ for reasons and then post them on this Tumblr where the challenge prompts are found.

We have a Discord for participants in the challenges! Doesn’t matter how often you participate, if you’ve done art for the challenge you’re welcome to join, send the blog an ask to get your invite.
Now we’ll include some brief-ish intros from the staff. This concludes everything else though if you don’t want to read about that! I am Solar Flair! Hello. I’m the longest running staff member of this blog and it’s Admin. I was not the original admin or anything however. Well, for this version of the blog I am. The original 30minchallenge got hacked and we lost it- thanks for the complete lack of assistance Tumblr Staff, kiss kiss.
Anyway, all that aside I’m a pretty standard nerd. Gimmie them vidya games, D&D, books, furry trash, et cetera. I’m a writer, but one of those lazy ones. I’ve worked on a comic with a friend, but that’s sorta dead now. I help a bit with Trotcon. As for pones Rarity is the best, RD is as sharp as a bowling ball.
