Mirrors have some interesting roles. Portals to alternate dimensions, a place to hang important memories, a legendary place that will multiply anypony who steps through it. Whatever form of reflection you chose, just make it pony related.

You have 30 minutes to draw, then 15 minutes to submit! Have fun!

I guess rarity and Maud found a gem that lets them speak backwards. perhaps it is one of those magical gems maud said exists out there. Maybe even causing them to lose their balance some. I mean what other reason do we have for rarity falling on top of maud like that?

Rarity and maud.

With crystal and stone cutie marks these two seem like they would be friends at a least once they get past the first meeting so to speak. Maud would help ground rarity and rarity would help maud get out of her comfort zone even if only a little bit. Sometimes everyone needs a push after all.
