Twilight Sparkle and Spike return to the other dimension after receiving a call for help from Sunset Shimmer and friends. A musical showcase is taking place at Canterlot High, and everyone is auditioning. But we also meet the Dazzlings (Adagio, Aria and Sonata), and discover that they are Sirens which use their song to turn all the bands against one another, and feed on Tacos, I mean their hatred.

It’s up to Twilight and company to form their own music group and stop the Dazzlings with the power of friendship as The Rainbooms! Also Maud Pie is in this.
