From Bad Girl to Good Girl, she was a former student to Princess Celestia, not getting what she desired right away. And thus, she became cruel and dishonest, as she stole Princess Twilight’s crown and fled to the other dimension, where she’d win as Fall Formal Princess numerous times.

When the crown turned her into a more evil creature, It was up Twilight and the Mane Six from Canterlot High to defeat her, and teach her about the magic of Friendship. Now, she is reformed and helps out with her new friends in later adventures.
